A regular meeting of the EIU Academic Council was held

A number of key issues regarding the academic and educational life of Eurasia International University (EIU) were discussed ahead of the launch of the new academic year during the regular meeting of the EIU Scientific Council held on August 26. Discussions focused on several important matters related to the organization of the new academic year and the effective implementation of the educational process, including issues concerning the teaching staff, the academic calendar, scholarships, and tuition fee reimbursements under state order allocations.

Also on the agenda of the EIU Scientific Council was the organization of the 2026 internal research grant competition, aimed at supporting scientific research and fostering new initiatives within the university.

Additionally, the Council discussed the introduction of a new system to encourage student participation in summer schools and professional seminars, thereby promoting their professional development and broadening educational opportunities.

Special attention was given to applying through the new admission system for doctoral studies for the 2027–2028 academic year, as well as applying the evaluation grading scale for VET (Vocational Education and Training) graduates’ diplomas in the university admission process.

During the meeting, participants also reviewed the activities, achievements, and results recorded under the Erasmus+ KPI4HE international project. Discussions addressed ways to ensure the sustainability of project outcomes, their continued integration into university operations, and next steps to strengthen institutional capacity, improve the quality of education, and promote management approaches based on performance evaluation and key performance indicators.

A new academic year—with new goals, fresh ideas, and new opportunities for development.
